When designing this room for my oldest daughter, two colours came to mind: Pink & Grey.
I was inspired by her love for pink but I wanted to incorporate the pinks via accent pieces. I went with a lovely silvery/grey wall colour from Benjamin Moore called Silver Chain.
After I chose the wall colour and wallpaper, the lighting was the next piece of inspiration. The light pink bulb covers sealed the deal!
Next came the wallpaper. The room is quite big and has 9 foot ceilings so I went with a dramatic feature wall with a damask pattern. The wall paper is from Crown Wallpaper (Simplicity Collection: SY40109). This lovely print has a pretty sheen to it – especially when the light hits it.
Lamp/flowers/unicorn: Homesense
The light pink velvet headboard was a lucky find at Homesense. With the wallpaper being so busy, I wanted the bedding to be a bit more muted. The bedding is by fashion designer Julien Macdonald ~ pink "Antoinette". The rossette features & the bow pillow are just so darling and the perfect touch to this feminine bedroom.
Wall art/Rug/Mirror: Homesense
The stand alonemirror was my daughters lucky Homesense find. I caught her practicing her pirouettes in front of the mirror and scooped it up right away :)
Wall art: Walmart
Knot pillows: Juju & Jake
Silver bench: Xcella
