Homeschool Essentials

 

This global health pandemic hit us all abruptly and forced us to live in a new reality without much warning. While we all joked about having our kids at home for 3 weeks, it became very apparent very quickly that they would not be sitting at home doing nothing. God bless all of the teachers and school administrators out there. They quickly implemented plans of action for remote learning and did all that they could to fulfil the educational needs of their students. So now, parents everywhere need to adapt to homeschooling our kids and creating a new environment for them to learn and succeed. 

If you don’t already have a dedicated space for homework time, try finding a quiet place in your home to set up a temporary homeschool space. It could be in your dining room, basement, or home office. Always ensure that there is an available outlet nearby. In my own home, I set up a temporary homeschool space in my office.  

Here are some great homeschool essentials to help you create a functional learning environment in your home: 

 

Start with a desk or small table:
